The Open course hosted the 2003 & 2005 Australian Open. Five-time winner of the British Open Peter Thomson AO, CBE designed the course, which was built and prepared for the national championships featuring stunning views platforms and is one of the longest courses in the country, measuring approximately 6,700 metres in length.
